Meet Dr. Lindsay Stearn

I became an orthodontist because I love seeing confidence grow. There is something incredibly meaningful about helping someone feel proud of their smile, and I never take that responsibility lightly.

Every patient has different goals and concerns. Orthodontic treatment should feel thoughtful and personal, not rushed or one size fits all. My role is to listen carefully, explain clearly, and design a treatment plan that truly fits the individual. I want every patient and parent to feel informed and confident from the very first visit.

Orthodontics continues to evolve, and I am committed to staying at the forefront of the specialty. From early growth guidance and expanders to comprehensive braces and clear aligner therapy, including Invisalign®, I approach each case with precision and intention. When treatment requires collaboration with other specialists, I work closely with trusted colleagues to ensure seamless care.

Seeing a patient’s new smile for the first time never gets old. It remains one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

After completing my three-year orthodontic residency, I have continued to pursue advanced education in evolving aligner systems, interdisciplinary treatment, early intervention techniques, and emerging digital technology.

Beyond the Practice

I grew up on Long Island, opened my practice in Brooklyn, and now live back on Long Island with my husband and children. When I am not in the office, I am usually running between my kids’ activities, spending time with family, or planning our next trip. Being a mom gives me a perspective I truly value when caring for children and teens. I understand both the clinical side and the parent side of orthodontic treatment.
